Wesley Michael Brown, famous as Wes Brown has started his career in very early age. This English defender plays for world famous football team Manchester United. When he was a simple school boy, he started kicking seriously for Fletcher Moss Rangers and Burnage High School team. An ex- student of FA school of Excellence, Lilleshall practiced at Manchester United's football Academy and recognized by famous footballers for his enormous talent as a defender when he was just 12 years old. Few years later, Wes Brown started his career as a thorough professional with renowned club boyhood, Manchester United in the year of 1996, 4 Th November. At that point, of time, he was at the age of 17 and he got huge success with youth and reserve sides.

After winning FA Youth Cup, Brown has a great launching pad to play against Leeds United on 4th May 1998. In 1998-99 seasons, he made a number of first-team appearances in right-back position and his natural centre-back position. He has started a defensive and promising partnership with Jaap Stam, a renowned footballer at heart of the United's defense. However, that season was not pleasant for Wes Brown. He could not give his 100% and Manchester United team captured that legendary treble. Considered renowned defender of Manchester United team, Wes suffered a lot during the training period for 1999-2000 campaign. After recovery, he came back with his own form and made his mark in 2000-01 campaign.

Day after day, Wes has becoming irresistible and acquired huge popularity than ever before. However, his luck was not in his favor and tore his knee ligament in the season’s final day. It took approximately 2 years for his recovery and in the year of 2004, he got man-of –the –match award for the semifinal of FA cup. Despite this success, he was unable to get a place in England Euro 2004 squad. 18th April 2008, Brown has signed a contract of 5 years along with colleague defender midfielder Michael Carrick and Rio Ferdinand that will stay him until 2013 at Old Trafford. While comes to his International career, Wes Brown has a chance to play for 2002 FIFA World Cup, England. After seeing his consistent performance in 2005-2006 season, Authorities requested him to play a friendly match against Uruguay. He was once more called back to England team by the coach of the team Steve McClaren. He played in the defeat of Andorra, during 2008 European Cup qualifiers on 2 September. At that time, Wes was the partner of John Terry at heart of England defense in the place of the wounded Manchester United squad mate Rio Ferdinand. The he also replaced John Terry in one of the friendly match against the Brazil team on June 1, 2007. Nevertheless, he gave his first touch of ball and almost scored his own goal. Fabio Capello, a renowned football player has named Wes Brown as one of the most talented starter who played well against two powerful team of France and Switzerland.
