Christopher Mark Riggott was born on 1 September 1980 in Derby, England. He is currently playing in Premier League for Middlesbrough as a Defender. Riggott started his professional football with Derby County in 1999 and played more then 90 matches for the club. In 2003 he joined Middlesbrough with the transfer fee of 3 million pounds and soon establishes himself in the team. Riggott immediately became popular among the fans, scoring twice on his second appearance against Sunderland which Middlesbrough won 3-1. Riggott has recently stated that he would love to return to Derby in the future.
