Luis Antonio Valencia Mosquera was born on 4 August 1985 in Lago Agrio, Ecuador. He is currently playing in Premier League for the Wigan Athletics as a Midfielder. He started his Professional football with CD El Nacional in 2001 and after 84 appearances for the club he moved to the Villarreal in 2005. He was loan out to Recreativo and Wigan Athletic for the short time period but move to Wigan became permanent one signing a three and a half year contract for an undisclosed fee.
