They won the 1964 and 1965 American Football League Championships but since the AFL-NFL merger, they have yet to win a title. They have won the AFC Conference four consecutive years, 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993 and have won Division titles in 1964, 1965, 1966, 1980, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1995. They have reached the playoffs 17 times, the latest coming in 1999
Their team colors are Dark Navy, Red, Royal Blue, Nickel and White. Theur mascot is named Billy Buffalo.
Although the NFL has the New York Jets and the New York Giants, they are the only team that plays their home games in New York as both of those teams play their home games in the suburb of East Rutherford, New Jersey outside of New York City.
